| Older adults who feel lonely or isolated have a higher chance of depression and physical decline. Aww... Wanna Do Something to help them? Sign up at www.dosomething.org/us/campaigns/senior-story-swap to receive facts on isolation among older adults and tips on how to have the best one-on-one interaction with them. Then, spend time with an older person by sharing outrageous stories (and learn some juicy things about their past!). When you take this action, take a picture of you and the older adult(s) you are sharing stories with and upload the picture to www.dosomething.org/us/campaigns/senior-story-swap. Your photo constitutes as an entry to win $10,000 in scholarship money! No essay or minimum GPA required. | |
