PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) Foundation is pleased to announce it will provide grants for eight multicultural students to attend the PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America) National Conference, Oct. 6–10, 2017, in Boston, Massachusetts.
This newly created grant forwards the mission of the PRSA Foundation to encourage and support multicultural students majoring in public relations and related fields who plan to pursue a career in public relations. The grant will support eight college students (from HBCU colleges and universities) for up to $2,500 each to attend the PRSSA National Conference in Boston. At the PRSSA National Conference, awardees will have the unique opportunity to build professional relationships by attending speaker sessions and networking with peers and professionals, and will receive one-on-one and group mentoring from PRSA professional members. The grant application period is Aug. 7 through Sept. 1. Guidelines and application may be accessed at the grant web site link.
