Regions is proud to recognize and celebrate Black History Month as well as those who inspire the next generation. Regions believes in tomorrow’s leaders—that’s why, after the 2019 Essay Contest, Regions will have donated over $1 Million in scholarships to both high school and college students. Show your admiration and build on your future by telling us about an African-American who has inspired and motivated you. The participants with the best essays will have a chance to win a $3,500 or $5,000 scholarship. Your essay should, in 500 words or less: (a) address how an African-American individual has been an inspiration in your life, and (b) discuss the contributions of the African-American individual who has served to inspire and motivate you.
