Through the Pedro Zamora Young Leaders Scholarship program, the National AIDS Memorial awards undergraduate scholarships in the amount of $5,000 each year to emerging young leaders engaged in the fight against HIV/AIDS and/or efforts toward advancing health, racial, and social justice.
Since 2009, we have awarded more than $500,000 in undergraduate scholarships to 129 truly amazing and diverse young people nationwide. In 2022, we awarded seventeen $5,000 scholarships, and we hope to award 30 this year.
