About The E.S.T.E.A.M. Project:

An acronym for Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology, Engineering Arts and Math. The E.S.T.E.A.M. Project - an exciting weekend filled with inspiration, impactful life lessons, skill building, and networking will kick off a 4-week long curriculum with HBCUs.

Students will enjoy curated discussions, engaging motivational speakers, local cuisine, and memorable activities. Attendees will explore how coding, app development, and STEAM training can help them find success in a range of career paths. You'll leave empowered with new life and tech skills and infused with a renewed sense of hope and connections of sisterhood.

Participants will learn to code using Apple’s Everyone Can Code curriculum. In addition to coding, The E.S.T.E.A.M. Project will further prepare and empower young women to be future leaders through lessons in cultivating wellness, creative thinking, esteem building, and problem-solving.

  • The in-person kickoff weekend of events will officially launch the activation. Participants will enjoy a high-energy weekend of positive vibes, inspiring speakers, meaningful connections, and memorable learning experiences.

  • Throughout the boot camp's coding curriculum, this inaugural cohort will meet virtually to develop either an app project or app showcase project with guidance and curriculum assistance provided by the program sponsor. Our team will identify experts in the field of education and computer science to help integrate and execute the curriculum program.

  • At the end of the 4 weeks, a culminating event either in-person or virtual would allow the students to present and showcase their work. In appreciation of their active participation, they will each receive a $1,000 scholarship and gifts.
