What is the SIE?
The SIE exam is FINRA’s general industry exam that tests basic knowledge of products, risks, and the structure of the securities industry. It's ideal for university students and career changers, allowing anyone to sit for the exam without prior association with a firm.

Can I take the SIE while still in college?
Absolutely! With an exam fee of $80 and no firm sponsorship, the SIE exam is perfect for university students looking to get a head start on their financial services career and stand out to potential employers.
