Kozy Cushions Launches National Fundraising Campaign With The Tom Joyner Foundation
Posted By: Marcus Gilmore on September 30, 2016

The Tom Joyner Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization that supports Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) with scholarships and capacity building programs, today announced the launch of a national fundraising and outreach campaign with Kozy Cushions, a travel accessories company that specializes in creative, customized neck pillows.

As part of the national campaign with The Tom Joyner Foundation, Kozy Cushions will offer limited edition, HBCU-inspired neck pillow designs that reflect college culture and Greek-letter organizations. The collectable neck pillows will be available on The Tom Joyner Foundation Website under the Marketplace as well as When you make a purchase, enter the code “HBCU” and a portion of the proceeds will go to a scholarship campaign to help students pursuing degrees at HBCUs.

“We are very excited about our partnership with Kozy Cushions,” said Tom Joyner, Jr., president and CEO, The Tom Joyner Foundation. “We really appreciate that they share our vision to support the sustainability of HBCUs with this unique product line.”

Kozy Cushions offers hundreds of creative neck pillow designs for colleges, universities and corporate brands. The hand illustrated designs are all original and represent bold and vibrant styles. From basketball jersey flair to heritage products that celebrate founding years, the neck pillows capture the essence of college life and campus culture.

“We knew we were on to something when the Greek-letter organizations started posting their products on social media,” said Terance Harmon, CEO and Founder, Kozy Cushions. “Today, students, faculty, administrators and alumni members embrace our exaggerated mascots, dramatic logos, letterman jacket styles and executive product lines.”

Harmon anticipates that Kozy Cushions will eventually be available on all college campuses along with other signature items.
