.Bowie State University: 150th Anniversary Video Trailer . (5021 hits)

On January 9, 1865, the Baltimore Association for the Moral and Educational Improvement of Colored People opened one of the city’s first free school for blacks. Bowie State University evolved from that early school teaching the elements of education into a comprehensive, diverse university preparing students for a changing world. In January 2015, the university launched a yearlong celebration of the 150th anniversary of its founding.
