HBCUs in Paris COP 21 (1599 hits)

Rashad Grimes of Alabama State University and Antionette Fowlkes of Alabama A&M University participated in the COP 21 Climate Change Summit in Paris, France. These students are apart of a HBCU Climate Change Consortium’s delegation to the conference organized by the Deep South Center For Environmental Justice. Rashad and Antionette participated on an NAACP HBCU panel making the connections between Climate Change and Black Lives Matter.

PURE currently works with both students at Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University.
