Gadsden State Celebrates National Nurses Week – Seminar May 11

Gadsden State Community College’s Division of Health Sciences joins in the American Nurses Association’s celebration of the nation’s more than 3 million registered nurses, the largest health care profession, during National Nurses Week May 6-12.
The 2016 theme “Culture of Safety: It Starts with You” acknowledges the role that nurses play as patient advocates in health care settings. A culture of safety in a hospital setting is a work environment where a commitment to safety is the highest priority. That means striving to ensure the safety of the patient, the safety of the workplace, and also the safety of nurses and caregivers.
