We, at www.stemuscenter.org, just completed our first two informational sessions on Research Fellowship opportunity for STEM and Social Science doctoral students.
The mission of our center is to tell the stories of STEM undergraduate success. We employ various research methodologies to unearth and disseminate the brilliance of our students and professors through research. This announcement invites students to apply and participate in a paid, cross-collaborative research team conducting broadening participation research.
The ideal doctoral student should meet the following requirements:
✔ Full-time STEM/Social Science Doctoral Student
✔ Completed all program coursework
✔ Enrolled at an HBCU (preferred but not required)
✔ A U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or a DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipient
✔ Would like to secure a Broadening Participation Research Certificate
✔ I would like support in developing, executing, and disseminating a collaborative research project
✔ Desire to increase scientific and social research networks
