Okay, I'm not Greek, so please don't catch attitudes or be rude with the responses (I've been reading through the website... some of y'all are ****). I was at one particular sorority's website, and I came across a section titled "Applicants Barred From Membership". Now, I've heard about blacklisting people and whatnot... but the names were actually POSTED on the website. Is this a common thing? Why did those girls get blacklisted?
By the way, I think it's kind of funny that the names are posted... I wonder how embarrassed they must be.
It's no secret that you are referring to my organization. I think, and I could be wrong, that we are the only sorority that publicizes the disciplinary reports.
From my understanding, we do this to protect ourselves and interestees. Applicants who are barred from membership did something against "the rules." They are on the website to let other chapters know not to accept them, and I guess as a favor to other sororities. I'm thinking that they would want to know about these people, so they won't let them in. But that's just my guess.
i heard about that.... i guess that also includes perpertrators, people who have falsified info... etc...
Trauma.. ithink you are right.. no one else that I know of has that info up...
I've seen a video tape of this dude confessing all this stupid sheyet in an interview to a regional pres' little did he know that that tape got sent to all his peoples back home. and to the frat at the school he transferred to. *singin like Snoop*
"Sniches, sniches, sniches, be runnin dey moufs like b!#%es"
Thank you for the information. I didn't want to assume, so I asked. I would ask what are The Rules, but I don't wanna wear out the welcome  ... Thank you!

You get "The Rules" once you apply.
You are not wearing out your welcome.
I love the fact that DST publishes their Disciplinary Report. I think it is designed to cut down on incidents of hazing by people who have a chapter suspended on their campus. I wish more organizations would do it.
^^^ I agree...because am I wrong by saying its pretty pointless to go through that when the chapter isn't being recognized by nationals or is on probation at the time. It also keeps folks out of un-safe situations...on both sides of the fence- interestee and organization.
