I have to give Morehouse a standing ovation for their hospitality towards these students. It's a crying shame and extremely embaressing that Spelman can't show the same effort in helping these students.

The city of Charlotte is taking in people. JCSU is also taking in students until Sept. 9th.

The deal is that Spelman is being it's regularly stingy self and really not providing any kind of financial support for any of the students. Students who were displaced have to pay the same amount as everyone else with no special deferred payment arrangements. They aren't even giving free room and board yet they have these girls sleeping 6 to a room in a game room in the dorms. Spelman has me heated with their lack of sensitivity, I had to write the President a little e-mail about my feelings on the situation. When these schools become all about business it's never a good thing.
