I don't get white folk sometimes. Granted we as a people have some dumb trademarks but thats pretty much the same across the board regardless of race, and there are some parties/events that common sense alone should tell you aren't wise.
If I put on white face and had a NASCAR, beat ya wife, and beer party folk would be really offended.
