Whew!
I cannot wait until this fall.
I am applying Early Action to Howard University.
Omg, I want to go here so bad to major in Nursing.
I have a 2.5 cumulative GPA a 3.0 year-to-date GPA. It ****, but I've progressed sooo much from my previous years. Progress IS what colleges look for; not always the "4.0 GPA".
I am in a Pharmacy Technician course, which I've maintained an A in. I've also taken my Pharmacy Technician State exam & I've passed! Therefore, I am a state licensed Pharmacy Technician. I have been doing clinicals for four weeks now at a long term care pharmacy & I will soon start clinicals at a local Walgreens. I have participated in many extracurricular activities this year including Key Club, Photography Club, History Society, SODA club, SCA Vice President of Activities, & Uzuri. I am also doing volunteer work this summer at a well respected hospital in my area; which is an AMAZING opportunity since I want to work in the meical field.
I pray that this will allow me to be admitted into Howard!
I'm sure you will get in just study hard for your SAT's and do you best your extracurricular activites make up for you gpa...I too am apply this summer for Howard so I hope we both get in. I hope to practice law or psycology...
