Any questions about pre orientation or Howard just ask because I might forget something. Pretty campus and I don't think it is in the ghetto. It just look like a black neighborhood that is doing what they can do with the money they have. So people shouldn't make a big deal of its location, I like the surroundings feel like home to me. Dorms are nice, they a koo size. I seen Crandall and Truth and the air is very nice. It will be a little tight having two other roommates, but nothing a person couldn't deal with. The community bathrooms are clean and its not hard sharing a bathroom with others on your floor. I did get a chance to see Frazier and the dorms looked a little bigger, but it was so hot on that end. The males don't have a dorm at the moment  They suppose to be building a new male dorm, but it isn't done yet and I don't know what is going on with Drew so yall might be in a hotel from what I hear until everything it ready. The food they served us was so good I don't know if it will be that way once we start college, but I know I enjoyed the soul food! Prepare to do a lot of walking to get to classes. Oh yeah and ladies watch out for the booty wall  Don't hang out or sit around the wall in front of the quad because that is where girls stand and get picked up by guys and holla at. The youngest person there was a 15 year old male, one white guy, and a guy I give so much props to was there and was deaf and he is still doing what he need to do. We did have to take a reading and vocab test and write an essay in a time period. They use the answers to tell you where you need improvement and if you will stay in the regular English class. If you are taking a basic math you don't get credits towards graduation, but will receive a grade for the class. The metro is easy to take and cheap. Also our parents will have no access to any information (e.g. cannot get our room number, grades, check to see if we been doing well in class, get a report card, etc.) unless we give permission. We have no curfew, but visitation times. There isn't a lot of parking areas and transportation is available in so many forms that a car isn't needed. I'll come back with more later and I can't wait until I have pictures to show yall!

Yeah I'm loving the no curfew and yes the booty wall sounds bad  I bet not catch you trying to holla at those females either. I did take a picture of a cicada  and ran like hell once the flash went off because I didn't want it trying to fly on me.

I was in Crandall and with three people it won't be too bad. It is one bed and a bunk bed and if you situate everything right it will be reasonable. Good thing there is air because the extra body heat wouldn't work for me in the Summer. Just know who will be bringing what so you won't have extra stuff.
