The SWAC on the other hand has Southerm, Grambling J-State, ASU, and a few others....only good school yall got academically is Tuskeegee.
So...yall may produce a few athletes, but what successful and/or prestigious alum come outta the SWAC ??? And I DARE for somebody out the SWAC to say that they have the better students...

Well my peeps didnt even have the option for the Travelodge or Aggie Inn.. :? They had to go back early and find an apartment. Bad thing about it...it dont seem like the # of students is going to stop rollin in no time soon...Which is GOOD and BAD for your school....
Ain't no good in it at all if we can't put them anywhere. That means we get all this money coming in, but apparently something isn't being done the way it should be.... :roll: We're destined to be the next FAMU... :?
The money is the only good thing about it..and you right its no good if you have no space.....
I agree. My friend went to FAMU in 02 and they put her in an old storage room with like 3 other girls so she left and went to Howard. But FAMU is still in her heart and she still wants to go back
I didn't hear of anything like that. That is just ridiculous. Housing is getting better thank God
This thread makes me feel proud my school is in East Bumble and a Private Institution. I mean yeah our freshman are starting to spill into upperclassmen but it will be a sad day in Hampton Roads when they start putting folks in Holiday Inn, etc.
Well actually we did buy out a hotel and turn it into a res hall (Strawberry Banks), but the good thing is.....WE OWN THAT, the entire waterfront property valued in the millions. Now just waiting for HIU to develop it... :roll:
Our campus is not as small as people think, HIU owns a lot of land around the Univ, just that everything is on center campus.
But anyway, Hampton students would be put in the Radisson, not the Holiday Inn. :lol:

I'm hoping that you HONESTLY didn't think TUSKEGEE was in the SWAC cuz that means you're talking about the WHOLE WRONG conference if your arse didn't know that Tuskegee IS NOT in the SWAC. The SWAC OBVIOUSLY has the better students in THIS case...lol...
Just to let you all know people that attend a SWAC school are not dumb. Just because you attend a school does not make you better than anyone else. That does not mean that we are academically challenged. To be honest the SWAC and MEAC and anything else only pertains to the athletic department. Please make a note of that so you do not embarrass yourself anymore Plus SWAC bands are better than you all!!!
