We have Howard, Hampton, A&T, FAMU, and a plethora of others...
The SWAC on the other hand has Southerm, Grambling J-State, ASU, and a few others....only good school yall got academically is Tuskeegee.
So...yall may produce a few athletes, but what successful and/or prestigious alum come outta the SWAC ??? And I DARE for somebody out the SWAC to say that they have the better students...
hehehe...how is that for Smack Talk... 8)
I wasn't about to let the SIAC, SWAC, and MEAC lay claim to every intellectual accolade; let's examine the facts:
CIAA
VUU - Douglas Wilder (former Governor of Virginia)
NCCU Law - Mike Easley (current Governor of North Carolina)
NCCU - Julius Chambers (former head of NAACP Legal Defense Fund)
Shaw - Willie Gary (NCCU Law) one of the richest attorneys in the country
WSSU - Louis Farrakhan
NCCU - Ernie Barnes (best known for the paintings featured in Good Times)
NCCU - Andre' Leon Talley - Editor-at-Large of Vogue Magazine
Just a few named here. . .
The SIAC is home to:
Tuskegee
Spellman
Morehouse
Clark
Albany
Four of your most prestigious schools come out of there.
   they only got 5 schools.........how they jump fromAtlanta to New York??!?!?!?
sshhhh......chile, albany as in albany state university in georgia
hell, I ain't from Georgia.....wounldn't know.....plus, I ain't from New York....how would I know......... fucced over myself over on that one.....clarification was all I needed....thanks for for that info.......
I thought this beef was between the MEAC and SWAC....no one said anything bad about the SIAC
(clears throat) I got this one yall
No one said anything about the SWAC either. The point of this thread is MEAC has the smarter schools. We (the SIAC students) are just defending ourselves.
Oh yeah we have more than 5 schools we just named the ones that are worth mentioning
someone did say something about the SWAC...it was in the opening post.....
"So...yall may produce a few athletes, but what successful and/or prestigious alum come outta the SWAC ??? And I DARE for somebody out the SWAC to say that they have the better students..."
I was just confussed....no beef.....just thought the MEAC was beefing with SWAC...thats all...... 8)
Didn't know you guys had more that 5 schools...my bad once again....proceed...my fault
I'm pretty sure there are "smart" people in every conference, and that none are better than any of the others, because it doesn't matter where you go, it matters what you do when you get there... Michael Jordan played on the bulls, but Joe Blow did too and you never hear about him...

Yeah that's true though. Shirley Caesar graduated from Shaw too.
I wasn't really counting entertainers/performers. I only included Ernie Barnes because art is creative intellectual expression.
BTW, although one may not agree with Louis Farrakhan's teachings, his linguistic and interpersonal intelligence level (David Gardner's Seven Intelligences) is VERY high.
Well, since y'all are talkin about people athat came from NCCU...
One of the 50 greatest men and baskeball graduated from there.
^^Sam Jones^^
-A brother of Kappa Alpha Psi
-One of the 50 greatest men in basketball
-NBA Hall of Fame
-Played 12 years with the Boston Celtics, 10 of those years the Celtics were NBA Champions
-My cousin 8)
