I'm repping for LA but I'm feeling a little lonely. Is there anybody else from Cali in here anywhere? This is one reason that I'm afraid to go all the the way to Atlanta. How many other people from Cali are heading to the South and how do you plan to adjust?
The Grambling vs. Alcorn game that was supposed to be held in carson Sept. 5th has been cancelled. Several Grambling Alumnus informed me this morning. The reason is insufficient funds. Supposedly Grambling wanted their money up front and the promoter could not provide it. Therefore their will be no black college football game on the West Coast this year. Evebthough I wasn't going to be at the game Im dissapointed. :cry:
Maybe next year we can get Tuskegee against somebody at the Coliseum

I'm ecstatic to see so many people from Cali reppin on here!! So many California so rarely leave our beeeautiful state, to go off to school ('specially with the cost of being out of state). Good luck to everyone on their quest for knowledge and bettering oneself! Just make sure you represent at whatever school you go to!! You know the east coast like to hate on us :wink: 8)

Hey I'm pretty much from LA too, I'm in that Los Angeles County, reppin Carson, CA. (OFF POINT) I wish they would have had a game out here on the west coast because it would have been right down the street. Anyways...I'm showing you some Cali luv from that 310 area code. I am going to Howard in the fall but we both are going quite a ways from home. So don't worry..you're not the only one. Holler
