does anybody know whatthe requirements r 2 be an oh la la girl and when r the tryouts for incoming freshmen and when r the tryouts for cheerleading
Dont quote me on this because Im not 100% sure, but both the Ooh La La's and the cheerleaders have tryouts either the first or second week of classes.
The Ooh La La's have both Fall and Spring tryouts.
i have a question what is howards pre med program like
Are you talking about Biology Pre-Med? If so, the program is good. Many students struggle with Organic Chemistry and Physics. Alot of students also change their major because pre-med is so difficult and demanding. But many have done exceptionally well also.
whats the criteria to get accepted into howard also what is the life like there and the dorms
Criteria:
4 years English
3 years mathematics
2 years social science
2 years science (w/ lab)
2 years foreign language
Completed, signed, and dated application for admission
$45 non-refundable admission application fee payable by money order, cashier’s check, or credit card. Personal checks are not accepted. Note: Howard University does not waive application fees.
Official high school transcript that shows your cumulative grade point average and class rank (from 9th-11th grade)
Standardized test scores
One letter of recommendation from a teacher
One letter of recommendation from a counselor
Admission essay
I would also recommend a minimum 3.0 GPA, 1050 SAT and 23 ACT
Campus Life and Dorms:
Men can live in Drew, Carver, Slowe, Meridian, East and West Towers and Cook Hall. Most freshmen live in Drew and Carver and the best dorms are Cook and the East Towers. Girls live in the Quad and the Annex.
Campus life is great and consists of Sports, Marching Band, Greek Letter Organizations, Honor Fraternities, State Clubs, Campus Pals, The Hilltop Newspaper, Black Pride Organizations, Gospel Choir, Fashion Council and Homecoming Steering Committee.
There is MORE than enough to get into at HU. Good luck with the rest of your research and I hope that helps!
ok well i have a 2.4 and a s.a.t score of 1290 with 8 ap classes under my belt so whart are my chances of getting in or should i try somewhere else
If you are a rising senior looking to apply to Howard in the fall of 2007 then I dont think you will be accepted with a 2.4 GPA.
The minimum GPA for admission is a 2.5...You MIGHT want to try applying in the fall and sending Howard your improved GPA (if your GPA improves) in the spring. That MIGHT work, but thats stretching it, even if you took AP classes or not...
