Quick random yet important questions how would you guys rate the communal bathrooms and how are they structured is it curtain only for the showers or is it a room then the shower how is it please elaborate thank you kindly
Well, I can't rate all of the communal bathrooms, becuz...well...I didn't live in all of em lol. I stayed in Wheatley my freshman year and their bathrooms aren't too bad. I would also visit my friends alot in Truth and Crandall, and since those are the newer buildings in the Quad, their spaces are a lil more modern. I have NO idea what the bathrooms in Frazier and Baldwin look like. If i'm remembering correctly, I believe there are only curtains for the showers. The bathroom is sort of split in half: on one half are the stalls with the toilets, on the other half are the showers, and the sinks/counters are sort of the divider in the middle. The ones in Wheatley are bigger than the bathrooms in Crandall and Truth tho. As for cleanliness, i'll just say it is dependent on you and your floormates. There is housekeeping that works there and cleans the bathroom on a regular. So when you move in, it's clean....how long it stays that way depends on the sanitation habits of you and the other residents on the floor. The fact of the matter is, some people are just nasty...period. You will find that out living in a communal bathroom, or even just sharing an apartment. I'd suggest you bring flip flops. And if you're the **** type, maybe even purchase your own bottle of bleach to do a lil scrub down before u take your shower or sit on the toilet.

No, it is not wise to have a car your freshmen year. And the male to female ratio is either 2:1 or 3:1.

There are alot of west indians on campus. There is a Caribbean Students Association you should look into joining. There are a few Reggae Clubs. The Crossroads is one, but alot of Reggae clubs always get shot up. If I were you I would stay away from those and just go the regular clubs. They play reggae also.

I think it's a lil higher than that....especially for the freshman class. Maybe like 5:1 (depending on how many were admitted this year).

CSA (Caribbean Students Association) if forever throwing parties. I'd say your best bet would be to just go to one that they host at a nearby club or venue. Their parties are always a big hit and I can't say that I hear about too many bullets at them. And trust...you won't have ANY problem running into fellow West Indians. I have quite a few Caribbean friends. Heck...i'm even an honorary Haitian and Jamaican (and Nigerian too...even tho that isn't Caribbean lol).
