Hey everybody this is Jamie. I'm new so I'm going to introduce myself a little bit.
I'm a 17 y.o. female (18 in sept!!!) and I live in Wisconsin. I'm getting ready to be a senior which means I'm about to start filling out college apps.
Howard is definitely my 1st choice school and Hampton & Spelman are my 2nd & 3rd choices. Since I love writing and reading I plan on majoring in Print Journalism.

Welcome...I know you will enjoy this site. Since the thing you love is what we do all the time, then you're straight. Jump on in and post to some threads, you'll find some of them really interesting.
Sis Tamera hit that on the head! You will find some of these very interesting. Just have fun and jump right on in. Pretty much everything is based on opinion or just random thoughts so have a good time. And start lettin everybody know what u think.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I've only been on here for a few days and I already LOOOOOVE this site. I haven't posted much yet, but I will once I start applying and getting that nervous feeling and also once I get accepted (hopefully Howard!!!) and start having so many questions about everything .
deedeja - I want to major in Print Journalism too! But I wouldn't want to major in Broadcast b/c I hate talking in public. Knowing I'd be on TV speaking to millions would **** me. LOL. Good luck on getting in Howard. Have you received any info from HU about apps or the S of C?
lol unfortunately i haven't received any info or an application, but i did attend a college fair and i got a copy of the hilltop and a general howard brochure
I haven't recieved anything from them either. I'm supposed to call today to see if they could send me an app, but now I'm thinking now is too late in the day. Are you going to apply online or use the paper app?
