So, I'm officially a senior in highschool and it's time to apply for college. Do I have a chance of getting in??
I am ranked 160 out of 433
I am a National Achievement Scholar (Referred)
I have a 3.04 G.P.A
I've taken only honor and AP classes my entire high school career.....
Also, what kind of scholarships does Howard offer and how do you apply for them??

You all are really on point!
I think high school students these days are a tad bit smarter and more persistent than when I was in school...
FYI: Howard University's evaluation of an applicant's qualifications for admission is based on high school course work, grade point average, class rank, test scores, extracurricular activities and letters of recommendation. An essay, audition, portfolio, or interview also may be required.
Shaysdaone, the deadline for Early Action (EA) is November 1, 2007. Are you sure you can meet the deadline if you havent taken the SAT yet? Honestly, that is cutting it kinda close. I think that if you apply regular admission you have a very good chance of getting an acceptance letter. But I always say, if YOU feel confident, then go for it!

Thanks for the helpful information...I think applying Regular Decision will be my best bet so that I can work on my GPA and extracurricular activities..
Thanks alot Evy so we right on time wit our stuff so hu betta be ready lol ......omg i wonder whats worse doing all of this stuff and worrying about tests and crap or the anticipation of the letter???!!
Ya welcome!
I think that the anticipation of the letter is worse lol At first my mom was like, "You need to apply to more than just HU" but now she's singing another tune. She really sees that I'm passionate about HU and has recently told me that she thinks I'll be accepted Only thing I'm really stressed about, is finding $30,000....yea I know HU isn't $30,000 exactly but it might as well be.
