I've been reading this book about the sistahs rules to catching a good black man...one chapter talks about how women should make out lists of what they want but don't make it like a dream man...i'm curious about some of the things that different women look for in men...other than the cliche' "tall dark and handsome"
Personally my guy has to be tall...over 6'0 because I'm 5'10 and i'm just not going to be with a short guy...
it is also about the outside, you dont just go up to **** people and start talking to them, unless thats your thing i guess, but then it would still mean you are attracted to **** people, meaning that it boils down to the outside again, im sure there are people on here who liked me until they saw my pics, and there rae people on here who didnt like me until they saw my pics, to each his own
i don't think that looks are everything... nor the personality... it's gotta be the whole package. Of course I have to be attracted to him... or else.... (nah, there is no or else...lol) and he definitely has to have his head on his shoulders and have short and long-term goal like I do. Also, he needs to have (strive...then have) a relationship with Jesus Christ (and other things of course... but that's enough writing)
There definitely has 2 be physical attraction there b/c as mentioned b4, you don't just go up to **** ppl like that. He has to be motivated and want to make something of himself. He has to be really funny cuz I love to laugh. I want to be able to be myself and enjoy being around him. And an added bonus is when he is someone I can talk to, as both a lover& a friend. And he has to be resepctful, and intelligent.
I just hope guys like this still exist.
Like I said in another post, I'm not afraid to admit I don't know what the hell I want right now. I don't think any list I come p with at the moment would be sufficient in determing what I want in a man.
I myself want a guy to like me for me. I'm young so I have plenty of time but I have been dumped because I'm a bit tom-boy-ish. I love to shopping and get my hair and nails done,(mainly because I don't know how to really take care of my own hair and I am not about to walk around lookin ****!) but even when my hair is done, as long as I don't sweat out my perm or something then I'm at the gym working out or playing basketball. I like to watch wrestling and play NCAA 2006 on the XBOX, I'm not sure what i want for the future, I'll think about that as I might go to Howard U. I'm 17 so I have plenty of time, but dang, why dump your girl because she beat you at Madden!!
