So I know these "Chances?" posts can be semi annoying , but I finally have all the information thats required to answer this question.
SAT: 1130 ( M + CR) 1730 total
Rank: 157 of 375
GPA:3.3
National Achievement Scholar (Referred to Colleges)
... ummm I can't really think of anything else thats I need to say...I guess..lol
So...what do you think are my chances of getting in???
^^^ lol oops you forgot to mention your extra cirricular activities and leadership position..........
Honestly it all depends on those things because It shocked the hell out of me when my friend got accepted with a 2.5 gpa and 1000 on his SAT (CR+M) but his extra cirricular resume was off the charts dude is a lead at his job, plays basketball, foot ball, runs track, and is on the wrestling team 2 of which he holds captain position. But his step brother got rejected with a 2.67 and a 1020 only......... no job, no extra cirricular
So Im saying that to say not only your grades and your standardized test play a role in the selection but your essay, leadership positions, and extracirricular activities........ but all in all I would say that they would take you based off of your stats ....Be OPTIMISTIC
hehehe....jeeze I knew something was missing..
Well I have a weekend job, I run track, I dance....
I'm volunteer in the summer at IBE..
I'm Vice-President of a Teen Advisory Council..
so that's a few things....
I pray I get in because If I don't I would probably explode and die..lol...probably not but life would not be shiny...more like overcast with light showers
See there you go thats a good lil academic resume you have already even though they say it is optional to have I suggest you do it.....You should be straight with that though ....did you apply already???
^^^Based upon your test scores, activities, class rank, and GPA, I think you have a good chance at acceptance. As far as the essay, do your best and have a few people proofread it. I am sure you will do an excellent job. More importantly, you should apply as early as possible. If you wait until the last minutes, it’s a lot harder to get into college, since they only have a few spots left. Therefore, they can be much more selective. Good Luck!
