good gpa
good sats
$0 free money?
okay...anyway, regardless, I reallllly really want to go to Howard. I visited the campus in the fall and thats where I see myself. But the loan thing is the problem? Does anyone of you recommend I take such a loan to go there, or I should just go to a crappy a## in state college? please help
I tell all incoming freshmen this: Do not look just at Howard University for money. There are soooo many outside scholarships available....all you have to do is research and look on the net. Lots of folks at HU have their education paid for by other sources outside of the university.
If you cant find a scholarship anywhere and Howard is your first choice, take out a loan freshmen year, get those good grades so that you will have scholarship money by the time you are a sophomore.
Hey, thanks so much...because many people told me money wasnt the problem, then other people were like "loans!!!...no way"...and i've been thinking that too...thanks so much...
Ah...
LOANS.. Run...
FAR..and FAST.
If its more than 10,000/year in loans...I say no.
I would agree that loans need to be a last resort, BUT....it all depends on that person's financial situation. If Dallas has absolutely no other way to pay for school then I would say get a loan. But that is of course after all other options have been exhausted...
