I've read the sticky notes, but if I still come off disrespectful please feel free to ignore this post, I wanted to know what are the most important books that are absolutely NECESSARY to read in order to find out more information about the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.. Also, if applicable can you list an order for me to read these books. Where should I begin in regards to books? Thank in advance guys!

Check out "Past is Prologue: The History of Alpha Kappa Alpha" by Marjorie Parker

Also, You might want to check out IVY, An Unauthorized History of Alpha Kappa Alpha by Walter "Big Walt" Anderson. You can buy it on Amazon...I might read it too. It's a bit expensive though.... I hope that helps.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! Do NOT check out any books by Big Walt, or any "Unauthorized" histories of any BGLO. They're packed with false info and you can do more hurt than good to yourself in your research. Just because it's on Amazon, doesn't mean it's trustworthy.

^^^ I totally agree with the post above, I've seen that listing and it is really expensive, usually you can find these books in the library but IVY, An Unauthorized History of Alpha Kappa Alpha. Thanks for the info guys
