As a Woman I find that I have to depend a lot on Men when it comes to fixing, or buying my automobile. I don't know any female auto mechanics or sales ladies. Do you?
I wonder why cars are not as important to Women as they are to Men? Is it because Men are better at operating large machines due to their physical strength? is it because our fathers or the car care takers who raised us never took the time to instill the interest in us?
If I ever have a daughter I will make sure she is exposed at a young age on the art of buying, repairing, and maintaining a car.
Detroit -- More than 1,000 factory workers in Lansing, Mich.,
are feeling a little better about themselves this morning after learning
that the car they've been assembling, the Cadillac ATS, was christened
the 2013 Car of the Year at the North American Auto Show. A previous
model of this car lost the contest five years ago.
General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) invested
$190 million in the Grand River facility, specifically to build
Chrysler Group's ATS after moving production of the Chevrolet Traverse
crossover from Grand River to the Delta Township factory in Spring Hill,
Tenn, in 2009. The Grand River facility also makes Cadillac's CTS
sedans and wagons.
