Ok...so we're all ranting and raving about meeting a good man...blah blah blah. Well I found him....and I'm afraid of him. He's "too good." Him 25 (in Oct) career (comp prog) singer in a group (single coming out soon) photograhper 6 y/o son (he has custody) bought house at age 21 man of God very successful I'm just a new 20 y/o (July 7th), rising junior trying to decide what path I want to take after college. See I've known him since I was 17, but he didn't attempt to pursue me until i was legal, so I'm comfortable around him for the most part. And he really wants to be with me. We went to IHOP last night and I was just like....I'm not on your level...or close. I know that I'm mature for my age...always had to be, but never will I be able to compare to you. He intimidates me sooooo much, be he's so great!!! Why couldn't I just be a year older. Even if I were 21 and just graduated from college I'd feel a lil better about it. He says even 30y/o women tell him that he's just too put together! He is one of the few men that has his sh*t straight.....what do I do??? :?:

*hits miss nia in back of head* Did I knock some sense into ya? Girl you betta go for it b4 you end up regretting it. At least give it a chance and if it doesn't work out then it just doesn't. You don't wanna end up like Brian McKnight talking bout "Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda" do you? My advice: GO FOR IT, or REGRET IT LATER!
LOL! I agree with her. Do not be afraid or intimidated by the way he carries himself. If he is all that you explain him to be, I really think you should give it a chance. You remind me of me and how I felt when I was talking to an older guy. But look, don't knock yourself or your maturity level, because as you said, hes known you for a minute, and if he thought you were too immature or whatever for him, he wouldn't be trying to get with you. Let your insecurities go and take a chance. I think the biggest mistakes we as woman make in relationships is being insecure in ourselves, our abilities, and just who we are as a whole.

Iím a lot older than you my dear, so let me give you some simple advice: STEP OUT ON FAITH. Stop telling yourself that you are not good enough for him. Obviously he has found something in you that intrigue him. Take it from a women who is been in the game for a long time, men donít find insecurity attractive. No matter how intimidated you may be on the inside, donít show that to him. You are a Queen, and he is lucky to have you. Best of luck sista.
