Okay I see that a lot of you gals are scared to use tampons so I made a thread to discuss our fears on what kind of sanitary item we use for that time of month.
I prefer tampons they are easier to deal with...
I can still go swimming... :lol: :lol:
I am aware of TSS....I have pads and **** liners also but I use those sparingly
Cosigns.... plus its cleaner down there usin pads are too messy for me...
I used pads but I'm trying to get used to tampons because I'm in band which can be really athletic and the band will be out there in the middle of August workin' like it's a fool time job. But maybe I'm doing it wrong but tampons hurt and I definitely know it's there. ::shrugs::
I used a **** one time n that will never happen again... i don't know what i was think'n...i put it up there n it hurt really bad, i tried to get it out n i couldn't...i was so embarrassed/scared/in pain that i just went to my room n cried, i finally cried my self to sleep...few hours later my mama came to check on me n she asked 'how my day was' n i just busted out cry'n...2 get 2 the point, moms had 2 get it out...that was not a good day... so now i stick strictly to pads, big ole long thick SUPER pads...guranteed protection

I get mood swings like a motha and cramp like hell before my red check comes in the mail....I'll take a midol and put on a big stupid overnight, so I won't have to wake up EARLY IN THE DAYUM morning to clean my clothes cuz the check left some RESIDUES on my isht.... :evil:
But for me, I tried tampons...I just didn't feel that comfortable with it in me.....is it possible that tampons aren't for EVERYONE? :?
^^ they are not for everyone.. my body hates me, so I bleed like a power hose for 9 days (no slowing up)... When I was in band, I had to try a **** but it didn't work... my mom always says that I'll be able to carry my kids to term better.. oh well... My signals.. umm.... cramping (I go to the hospital).... I break out really bad... I really hate my period.. after my first kid, I'm getting that junk removed and I'm adopting for the rest (I know its extreme, but I hate how my body worx..)

I use both, but I use tampons a lot more when Im active. They are so much easier. I dont to worry about waddling around the practice field like a duck. I use pads though overnight

I have really bad cramps and bleed for seven days straight, but my mom says that if you have bad cramps then when you go into labor it will be a quick an easy delivery. I hope she's right cause' going through all this pain for nothin' would be a b*&%# :evil:

i hope ur mom is right too cause my cramps are just plain ridiculus i can take a midol some 800mg ibuprofen and the bytches still hurt..and for some reason the last few months or so my aunt flo is just plain ludicris i get bloated to the point my clothes feel toooo tight, my moods swings are up and down more than usual...last week i cried everytime i saw a baby..and i cant eat ne thing but cheescake and after day two i dont eat until after the last day....by the way my aunt flo comes in for NINE WHOLE FREAKIN DAYS :x ........did i mention i hate being female sometimes :twisted:
