Okay I see that a lot of you gals are scared to use tampons so I made a thread to discuss our fears on what kind of sanitary item we use for that time of month.

I thought I was the only one who has the vicious periods, its comes for 7 days and a week b4 it comes i cramp like crazy, my breaat are very tender,i **** everything up the first 3 days, I can't eat all I can do is drink and I bleed very heavily. I can't eat anything or drink anything cold and Motrin is the only thing that helps a little. I am always too bloated of rmy clothes and any clothing with buttons taht presses on my stomach hurts. Like my homie Ashley said it's all about the Stayfree, I use the thin overnights with wings, xtra long. I stay fresh thanks to my always menstrual wipes and many bath's to ease pain and make sure i dont have an odor.

Dang, it **** to be ya'll, sorry. I usually get the killa cramps on the first day or two, but after some hot tea, Motrin or a pickle, I'm usually straight. I have a question though, are any of ya'll that have the extreme cycles on BC pills? Some people say that it helps cut the cramps and the length of the cycle. My homegirl got on em in high school cuz she was always sick, balled up in a corner somewhere cryin, and she used to **** sometimes.. Also, are any of ya'll anemic?

I'm ont the BC pills and it actually relieved my cramps and shortened how long i'm on my cycle. 3-5 days (the last 2 days are just spotting) and i'm done! I guess it depends on the person.

Cosigns.. I am anemic.. and I was on BCPills during High school.. but all they did was bloat me up, maybe decrease a little bit of the flow (from Typhoon to ****) and some of the cramping.. but it still ran for like 9 days full course... my mom made me get off of them because she was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant later on in life (that happened to some of her friends).... This is really crazy.. like.. I'm usually bedridden for those first 2 days.. I wanna know how I am supposed to pledge and handle all of my other business when I have a monsoon flowing between my thighs.... :?

hopefully since its women they will be understanding My doctor gave me a prescription of Naproxen (a strong pain ****)...my cramps use to laugh at Midol...now I don't feel any pain with the prescription. I may feel sleepy or have gas and get the feeling that I have to do #2 a little but its a BIG difference

My period is the worst, I've never used a **** in my life, partly becase i don't know how to use one (I refuse to let my mother put one in for me so....) Secondly, like someone else had mentioned, I want to loose my virginity first. Pads with wings are the best, and Always , always keeps me cool.

I used to take Naproxen because my cramps were REAL bad. I passed out at work one time because my cramps were so bad. This was like 2 years before I had my baby, so when i went into labor and was having contractions I was like damn, i've had this feeling before!!!!That's just how bad my cramps were, I couldn't even stand up.

i've tried tampons but i'm so terrified of it getting lost or me getting TSS or something else that i've decided to only use them when i have to run track or if i'm going to be somewhere where a leak could be really mortifying. :? other than that i've been with pads for about five years and they've been working the best for me.
tampons are great.. if you read the information inside the package you'll see they explain why it cant get lost inside you and how tss is something that pretty much never happens anymore. it was more frequent back in the days when they were using different materials to make tampons. now, depending on how heavy your flow is you can pretty much wear one all day and even sleep in them. just make sure you wear a thin **** liner just incase of an accident and youll be fine. you cant even feel them!
