Okay I see that a lot of you gals are scared to use tampons so I made a thread to discuss our fears on what kind of sanitary item we use for that time of month.
I am on the Ortho Evra patch b/c I use to have a horrible experience every month with my period. I started in 5th grade and my periods were 8 days of heavy bleeding, and cramps so bad I couldnt walk the first two days!
Now with the Patch, Ma period is always on time and a convenient 4-5 days of light bleeding! My cramps aren't bad at all, but I do continue to have horrible mood swings...

I have been packing and getting ready to leave... but Im going to jus PM you ma number and we just can talk on the phone...
i've tried tampons but i'm so terrified of it getting lost or me getting TSS or something else that i've decided to only use them when i have to run track or if i'm going to be somewhere where a leak could be really mortifying. :? other than that i've been with pads for about five years and they've been working the best for me.
me too that TSS thing scares me. and since we wear uniforms w/khaki pants i guess i just had to get used to wearing tampons
kay, so the basic conclusion is that most virgins (not all) don't like to use tampons for whatever reasons...including myself. My whole dilemma is this...does inserting a **** break the **** lining?
stretching can break the ****, or playing sports or any physical activity can do that
I wear tampons. Playtex Gentle Glide are the best. They really are so comfortable that you can't even feel them. Pads are so big and bulky and they feel like diapers. The only time I wear pads is at night and I hate it then.
