Aight I know some of you on here are taking brith control or know someone who is. What side effects do you or her(the person u know) feel?
Me I think of **** and I think of Lighter periods! ...which reminds me of the 4 period a year pill..but anyways so I go to the doctor and I'm like I cramp really bad...which I do...and I would like the shot. Because I'm going to school out of state she suggested the pill for better access. SO I started taking the pill three days ago and I've been experiencing severe naseau(sp). It's gotten so bad that I refuse to take the pill anymore. So long for shorter periods. :?
My BF said he would take male **** pills....I asked well wouldn't dudes in general feel weird about being on "The Pill"...his response

I know my mom said her friends who took the patch, their bones got bigger. :? And their shoulders like broadened and stuff...smh. I cant be taking no BC thats gonna be making me diesel and sh*t. But yea, thats why my moms friend stopped using the patch.
the fucc? Aww hell naw! Can't take the Pill cuz I cant' swallow pills...feels like my throat is gonna close up and I'll die. Can't take Depo because I bleed like a damn hemophiliac 24/7 when I'm on the shot. Can't take the Patch because I'mma start looking like I play football for A&T...shyt...what's left. IUD...um....
jade, i don't understand, u said that u can't swallow pills, but the **** pill is so small. it feels like you're not swallowing anything, it's that small. what size were your **** pills?
Im on OrthoEvra I have only experienced a small amount of weight gain... ma tummy is a little less tone (but that's probably because I havent ben as active this summer)...
Uhm I do have mood swings.... But I always get depressed like tha two days before my period...
I get headaches every once in a while. But ma bones HAVE NOT gotten bigger. I am still petite.
Ma mother said ma face looks chubbier.
Otherwise I havent been affected much. Now the long-term effects are a mystery....
I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT GETTIN ON THE SHOT....A FEW OF MY FRIENDS ARE ON IT AND ITS DIFFERENT FOR ALL OF THEM.... ONE DOESNT GET ANY TYPE OF PERIOD...ONE SAID SHE "SPOTTED" FOR 9 MONTHS THEN IT NEVER CAME BACK...ANOTHER ONE DID IN FACT GAIN WEIGHT....MY BOYFRIEND SAID THAT EVERY GIRL HE KNOWS THATS ON IT HAS GOTTEN FAT @$$ HELL....SO I MEAN I DONT KNOW..I'M VERY NERVOUS ABOUT IT....
we'll every female is different...when i first started taking **** pills i had the worse symptoms nausea, migranes, backaches, etc, but i pushed my self to suck it up, and about after a month i was fine, i just hate having to remember to take it everyday at the same time, but now i only have minor cramps and a light flow, so its all good....
I was on the pill for about 4 months but I stopped cuz I blew up. I gained 20 lbs after I started taking it. My best friend was getting the shot but she stopped because of her amount of weight gain, stomach cramps, & irregular bleeding. Another girl I know was taking the patch but stopped cuz she was losing alot of hair. My sisters, however, take the patch & only have had a bit of weight gain & that's it.
MAN I tried to stop taking the damn pill cold turkey and got my period for the second time this month. I'm like o HELL NAWWW so I started to talk the pill again. The trick for me is to take the pill everyday like at 11pm and I won't feel sick to my stomach. But my sister was using the patch and it made her bleed for 3 months. I know I wasn't gonna go through with that. Now I regret ever getting on the damn thing. Now I gotta figure out how to get off. :?
Well I can't take pills cause I'm to damn forgetfull. I can't do the shot cause I hate needles. So I got the patch. Its cool besides it making me so emotinal. Boy I tell you I was crying like everyday then snappin the next it made my stress level go from orange to red , but I would rather have those side effects than vomitting or losing my hair.
