TOO Eager for Nalia Posted on 11-11-2004
Glamour_Pearl

Is it me or is everyone trying to sport some nalia nowadays? I've seen so many non greek groups with line jackets and shirts with whatever phi this or that. Groups like Naacp, hip hop dance groups even just random groups of friends. I mean what is going on are people that eager for some type of identity? I just wanted to know if others have seen this occuring around there way and what you think about it. I think its fine for certain groups like bands and things but not just at random.

I just want my jacket for the 1st day of classes..LoL...I'm just gonna rock that joint SOOO hard wheneva I get it. Best believe that. 8-)
I heard that. As soon as i pick up mine from the post office on Tues, i'm putting it on. I don't care what the weather is like this Wed
Only us Neo's would be so hype as to post or even take pics of the inside of a line jacket...lmao...this kills me. Although this Neo stuff is beginning 2 wear off...atleast mine is.
Aw, no fair. I made that post back in July. I was fresh out the womb at that time, so of course u know i was a lil over-excited. After i wore that thing one time, i got over it. To be honest, i can count on one hand how many times i've worn it since i've been in school. Most of the time I just wear it during community service events. Around campus i'm just tryna be me, not "that Zeta".
I deff feel u kenya! I use 2 wear Nalia every day...now I just wear it every now and then. (except 4 my umbrella cause thats the only 1 I have). ahhhhhhh the life of a neo
cosigns...The whole Neo spirit has died down some...

^There is a difference between being a Neo and a seasoned member. It is a transition that every D. Niner goes through. Become a D9 then we will talk about that...till then...

Hun, i'm a Master Mason: Why would I walk backwards? I am the father of all, I can get so deep the end of this post will really be the beginning... I am also one of the greates P/R's from one of the greatest P/R lines to ever walk the planet. If you want to see something ineteresting go to Howards library and look up the P/R's there in the 60's and 70's, and you will see that only the yards hardest could be a P/R. Thousands of greeks have not been able to get in and end up wearing D-9 colors to make up for their lack of fortitude. Half the people that started pledging with me are D'niners, (ha) as you call them, and when they see me they bow down and talk about what they could have done. I know lots of our quiters become presidents of their D-9 nine chapters. Nobody pledges anymore, cause when they did they respected those who did. When I crossed the yard would get quite when my lb' and I walked through from respect and you D-niner will never know that kind of respect. I never respected Greeks after I crossed because I was pledged to think of my frat as the only frat and now that I am older I respect those who earned their letters, but as for paperbacks I laugh in the face of them all. A real frat is not made by the Pan Hel or the Letters, its fordged in battle, pain, blood, yes blood. If you came to just one of my sets in 95' you would start crying evertime you passed a P/R. Our attrition is the highest , our standards are simple ,,,, We only take the elite. The rest go greek!
