Since I quit drinking like I used to, I'll take a swig or 2 of some hard liquor (100 proof and up) when I have the flu. If I just have a cold....2 words: TUSSIN DM. Oh yeah, and viatamins, chloraseptic, and pain reliever (Aleve 12 hour extra strength).
I don't like taking medicine so I normally jus let my body take care of it. When I had the flu though, I wasn't really up to eating but my mom made me drink and eat warm broth type stuff. orange juice, and ginger ale. Whatever you do....don't take Theraflu because that made me even sicker.

You should put some Gentleman's Jack (Daniels) in Lemon TheraFlu....OH MY GOD THAT STUFF IS THE SHIZNIT!!!! It'd probably drink it on the weekends if Im NOT sick!!
