This is not a thread to argue over which is "the REAL HU," but rather a place for yall to brag about your acceptance letters, ask questions about the school, and talk to people who go there. Naw fam you gone have to take the Act over again because the minimum to get in is like 22. But your gpa is good. I suggest taking the Sat rather than the Act because i got 21 on that but i think i rocked the damn Sat

“Tradition Apparel HBCU Tour” is looking for people like you!
We want students who are actively involved on their campus and have an absolute love for entertainment, events, fashion and their community! Due to the huge push for voters this year for the 2008 presidential election, Tradition Appeal has taken an active approach to charge HBCU student like you to become more involved. .
We are looking for College Reps (Brand Ambassadors) who are diverse team players, talented individuals who personify a great sense of excitement for others around them.
The ideal candidate will ensue natural abilities to work with the community, go-getter attitude, and out- the- box –creative thinker, and great self-starters. Our only prerequisite is that you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, and ready to put your creative ideas to good use. So, if you use words like campus trendsetter, outgoing, organized, creative, and self-starter to describe yourself, then you need to read on.
Brand Agent Duties::

- To increase awareness of HBCU Tradition college tour & Voters Drive around their campus.
- To collect an email database for Tradition Apparel and compile in an excel spreadsheet
- To host a kick –off event or team with another organization - with complete access to our resources (i.e. sponsor a campus fashion show, step show, Lunch-time music on the Yard)
- Needs to be detailed oriented because you will become your own CEO of the campus for Tradition Appeal?
- To assist with distribution and monitoring of placement visibility (identify the top 5 hottest spots in your area that would appeal to a trendsetting clothing brand like TRADITION)
-required to turn in a detailed report of the events you used the Tradition Appeal brand with photos of your work and a brief description of advantages and disadvantages of the project.
-launch our grassroots sticker/ poster/Button Voters campaign on campus that you can attach to an existing event in the spring.

Nope I know a couple of people who were accepted into Howard w/ a 20 on the ACT.
Yea, however Hampton is really all about test scores now... Like higher priority than GPA... My Math/Verbal was a 1170 and i got in, and i know someone with a 990 and a 3.1 who didnt.
Well, Hampton gives out academic scholarships to high school students based on their SATs.
And the good thing is, they don't really check your GPA.
