Although looks matter, women just might throw that to the back burner if the guy has some type of status (aka...$$$/power). Men are more physical, they go for what is aesthetically pleasing to the eye & touch. It is rare that a dude will want to be with a chick if she is perceived to be **** or unattractive by other people's standards. He might sleep with her, but if all of his boys thinks she's unattractive he is NOT going to want to be seen with her. Don't even front. Hell...it's rare that a dude will even be a chick's friend if he doesn't even think she's half-way decent.
