Though busy recording for Cash Money Records and launching his Young Money Entertainment, Lil Wayne recently enrolled at the University of Houston for the upcoming Spring semester.
Under the guidance of his manager Melissa "White Bread" Philipian, the young soldier opted to go to college and is taking part-time residence in Houston to pursue higher learning. Although, a high school dropout, Wayne passed his GED, SAT's ACT's to meet the requirements of the university. "This process was going on since last January and I wanted [Lil] Wayne to go back to school and get his education to better himself and prepare for his future," Philipian said in a statement.
Wayne's curriculum will include psychology classes twice a week. The New Orleans rapper visited the school last week and is reportedly excited about blending into "student life" on campus.
Props to Lil Wayne for goin back and getting his education
