For All My Bush Supporters. . . Posted on 02-12-2005
LadyJag7

The following is the list of all the programs Bush plans to eliminate for 2006. After reading this I really can't see how anyone who isn't wealthy and has a brain could even think to continue to support Bush  It's long but I highlighted some important ones that particulary affect us and our future families. Being from DC this is particularly important because I know a lot of our parents work for the government and as yall can see he wants to cut quite a few of the governent departments. WHO is acting ignorant here? As I have said, calling me white is more of an insult than anything else. I'm proud of my heritage, and we ain't white. But go ahead and keep saying it, it seems to make you feel better. Scream "Thunder's white!!!!" at the top of your lungs on a soapbox for all I care. Just shows me #1 you are close-minded, #2 you don't know one thing about me or my people; when I know more than you think about yours. Thunder

Southern Italians being compared to Panamanians, and Puerto Ricans... that's interesting. I do wanna ask though, what is white to you then? When I think white, I think color just like how there are white Puerto Ricans, white Dominicans etc. etc., not nationality. Like how someone could be South African but still be white, ya know.

Wow! Someone did their homework in this thread, that is the first respectable response in this entire thread that twisted me up, looks like I slipped up although somewhat minor. 8) Well, can't deny it. I'm regarded as white everywhere I go. Just don't like being called white, as the point in trying to convince myself, because I am far from what she meant by "white". All I ask is to be not called white nor considered white? Is it really that much to ask for? Thunder

O Wow. I wont call you white anymore either k? How bout we all refer to each other by their ethnicity. That means don't call me a black girl, because I am almost as far away from being black as you are from being white. That's like Tiger Woods calling himself "cablasian". Or a Nigerian saying, "Im not black, I am Nigerian." What the hell defines black and white then? Maybe we should just replace them. What the hell would HBCUs become then, or PWIs? (Historically African, Dominican, Nigerian, Somalian, French...... Universities? Or Predominantly Polish, German, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, Dutch, Universities? Think not.) Secondly, the only Latinos I refer to as black are the ones with African roots. And YES you can see the difference. ALLL Puerto Ricans are not considered Afro-Latino. Some have very little or no African bloo in them. To me they are considered white. And though you may not want to be referred to as white, in my head and I'm sure SEVERAL others you are considered white. But I am in no means a disrespectful person so I will never call you white again, k?... I shall call you Wonder. Wonder Boy, yes.

GENIUS. Apparently I gave you too much credit to your actual worth. If your going to label someone white for subjective purposes, why would you pick one of the darkest ones? Because you sure as hell didn't call me 'white' for any other reason. BTW, you have not stated not ONE THING about Southern Italians that is correct. Moreso stated anything. And your definition of white is so minscontrued I haven't seen anything that could be possibly dumber. What entails I'm white? My skin color? Well, I can find black/white mixed people a whole helluva lot lighter than me...guess they are white also. My ethinicity? Are you really that stupid? About 20% of Italy has darker skinned people than people on this board, guess they are 'white' too? But if white only entails skin color or ethnicity, why often do people say 'he is actin white' when he clearly isn't? So, until you can get your head out of your **** and can define a simple statement as to why it pertains to me and not others, keep talking about my 'ignorance', or simply leave me alone.
