Now of course you all know that I'm a be headin' south soon...and I 've lived in Toledo, Ohio all my life. I know we got some southern folk on here, so my question is...WHAT SHOULD I EXECT WHEN MOVING DOWN SOUTH? I DONT WANT NO SUPRIZES lol, so dont hold nothin' back tell me straight up...remember I'm jus an OHIO BOY who aint SEEN NOTHIN' lolol
I'm from the south.....Bama to be exact. The whole southern hospitality thing is real(lol). The weather is aight; we dont have real cold winters down here nor is super hot here(depending what part of AL u in). Like Bham( thats where I'm from), if it get 60...its hot (lol). Now in Skegee and "Da Ville",80 degrees and up....people decides to wear ALOT LESS clothing(lol). Not once have I nor anybody I know of been a **** of racism....so I cant talk to much about the racism in the south but ignorance has no boundaries nor state of limitations....so thats wassup on that.
But just think.....no matter where u goin to school at....Just do u and u will be cool.
LOL yeah u best get used to that flag cause that mess is ALL OVER THE PLACE!! i mean ALL OVER THE PLACE!!
the racism is prolly the worst thing bout bama
i think the 1 place in the entire country that is worse than bama would have to b mississippi
co-sign about the rebel flag
I got an aunt that lives in Toccoa, GA (about 90 mi. N of Atlanta near the damn mountains) and she lives across the street from a guy that has a rebel flag on his front yard.
Yes they phuckin' did, but I won't get on them since I have relatives that live in the Auburn/Opilika area who are big Auburn fans, so it's cool between my Dawgs and Auburn.
Bama on the other hand...
Well, I ain't got much to say about the Menstual Cycle....opps, I meant Crimson Tide.
(Hopes there ain't no Techies on this board)
look at what I phuckin' started
Back to the subject at hand...

It is kinda weird when a town where **** rallies were held is now about 90% black.
BTW, why does it seem that in every message board I'm a member of, 5 folk go/went to Stephenson, 5 go/went to Redan, and I'm the lone SMHSrepresenter?
Back to the GA vs. AL discussion:
I would say that S. Gwinnett would get up in dat ****, but I hate Gwinett County and everything it stands for. If Leflore ever plays them, whoop they ****!
as far as food...expect A LOT of good cooking on sundays...get cool with somebody grandma or something...Sweet Tea...EVERY BODY in the south drinks Sweet tea or at least tried it...
Weather: You're gonna love it, in ATL it's Feb. and 71 degrees...so imagine what it'll be like in AL
People: Southern Hospitality exists...i'm guilty of it too...we wave at people when they let us in front of them while driving...we speak and ask how you're doing...dammit we're JUST FRIENDLY!!!
Oo I love sweet teas and pearl milk tea- I didn't know that there were too many Asians in the South?
I'm highly offended homie lol...I like tea tho...especially Lipton powdered tea...with lemons...awww my momma makes the BEST tea
