What language/s are you taking in high school, if any? How many years of a language is your prospective colleges requiring for admission, if any? Say somethin in your language, and rate your fluency from 1 to 7

OK. I took Latin for 1 year, didn't learn a damn thing. Took Spanish for 2 years and didn't learn jack sqwat! But passed with an "A" cause the teacher loved me And French honors I took at the sametime for 2 years. I only took it cause I speak French on a regular basis to my parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, so that was an easy "A" I want my father to teach me Italian since he's of Italian decent, but that won't happen. French: J'aime le sandwichs translation: I love sandwiches lol I only said that cause I just had one.

I took three years of french but that was a couple of years ago so I'm not as good in it that I used to be. I can read it pretty well and talk it a bit. I say I have about a 5.5. The schools I applied to didnt ask for more than three. i think most asked for two.

I am currenty in my 6th spanish course (5 of them were madatory for my IB diploma), so i know the language pretty well. I don't know what Howard requires as far as foreign languages go. Fluency:5-6, i tend to make the silliest mistakes sometimes

well since i made tha post, I have taken russian for 4 years if u count this one in elementary school & 3 in high school, most of my colleges request 3 years in one language or 2 in 2 different ones. I give myself a 7 in fluency 'cuz during this spoken-language competition i placed 3rd in Ohio(probably learned the most cuz of all the damn immigrants by my granny in Detroit) Menya zavut AfroPoeticSista. Ya umnaya, stradsnaya, i obshetielnaya. Mui s'nimi na rolikak, goverim po telephonu, i igraem v'kegli. A tozhe luibliu chitayu stihotvereniye, slushats musiku, i nravitsye Morris Chestnut! I also started taken Spanish this year,& give myself like a 3 fluency 'cause i just started(gettin that b+ tho!)

I barely passed Spanish 2. I took it last semester and passed with a D. I would of got a better grade but I'd do my work and go to sleep. That class was so boring.
