Which Dorm is the best? Posted on 05-18-2005

I've just received my Housing papers in the mail today and I'm not sure which dorm I should choose or put preference on. When I visited Howard I never got a chance to see the dorms so I don't know which one is the best for undergrad. For example, which dorm complex has the best showers or biggest rooms and so on.

HELL YEAH Eastside got roaches. All you gotta do is have one Timberland, and it'll get rid of 'em all. Mice, get mouse traps at CVS with a lil peanut butter and u'll be set. Drew is the spot though for freshmen guys.

Yeah I'll be in drew with the rest of freshman males. So how many triples are in drew, or I guess how many floors are there? And I hate to sound like I'm complaining, but WHY does Howard have roaches and mice. I just think that is ridiculous. I mean I guess you can place the blame on the surrounding area and the fact that it's in the city, but still. I'm **** that Hu has them. Do the exterminate? And are the triples proportionally the same size as the doubles considering the amount of people in them?

Oh I definitely wasn't blaming HBCU's. When I use to go to NC States basketball camp, they had roaches in their dorms. I went for 4 yrs straight because I loved the camp though. The mice and roaches don't hinder my Hu decision. I know its the best HBCU. I just think that it's ridiculous for ANY college/University to have roaches /mice. I would think that HU would want to run a sanitary institute. I know nasty students play a role too, but there has to be SOMETHING HU can do because I'm sure they have heard complaints about it. If something is wrong, fix it. Don't just live with it(literally)
