Why are all the upper ranked officials in the government acting as if they are surprised that the **** of Iraqis was going down? We have the most powerful government in the world and they didn't know....give me a break. The government is so corrupted it's sickening.

That reminds me, I've always wondered why Congress gets to declare war? The gov't makes all these life altering decisions but congressmen/women never really have to suffer from the bad ones. LIKE THE DRAFT! I think that anyone that votes for war should go (or have their children go). if this were the case, America would be a 100% dove society.
O, and I don't like military recruiters, they are liars!!!

I never thought people would actually take this post serious, i thought somebody would say something like "this is whack...FREE POST!!!" I'm glad to see your responses....maybe's there hope for us Recruits yet.....
Ok, so i'm not really all that into politics, but I'll say a lil' sumfin', sumfin'. I have noticed that everyone thinks Iraq is the most dangerous country, or at least thats what Bush wants people to believe. I honestly don't believe that, I mean when was the last time Iraq came over to our country, overthrew the governemnt, and established a puppet one for them to control?? When was the last time they bombed one of our cities, **** women and children? I understand 9/11, but I mean if we were trying to match their body count, haven't we done so already? Ghandi once said that if everything was eye for eye, the world would go blind. America has overthrown more governments in the past 30 years than Bobby Brown arrests. If you ask me, i think AMERICA is the most dangerous country in the world.
I want to know if it is contradictive of black people in America to be patriotic of our nation? Seeing as how we have been the most callously treated group of minorities by the American government , is it redundant for us to take pride in this nation, or even more so, fight in its military? Does America still owe us something? Or is this simply the typical black mentality that longs for its 40 acres and a mule without putting forth the effort to get it (<~~~ then again, if it's supposed to be GIVEN to us, are we required to do anything?)!
I've just really been ticked off lately at the military, both for their actions abroad and for their actions right in the cafeteria at my high school! In my opinion, I see the military as a sort of organization that appeals to our society's "lower class"--- at least when no one is watching. The low class will volunteer to go into the militray because they feel they have a lack of options after high school. (when there is a draft, the middle class is effected and then the protests really get heated!!) From what I see at my school and throughout history, the military uses the carrot and stick manuever to bait low class citizens into its ranks with the promise of tuition and benefits, only to dehumanize them and make recruits nothing more than drones brainwashed to take any order (e.g., Iraq **** cases).
I wonder if I will be able to get more financial aid from FAFSA next school year. I really didn't get much this time and my family is not ballin' like dat! Someone told me that you usually will get more money from them as you go into your second year of college...........yeah, we'll see :roll: ..............
Anybody else in this dilemma?!?!
