If you have lost weight....share your secrets! I've decided to loose some weight and become a lil more fit. I dont want to be "skinny" because skinny doesnt fit me. I just want to tone up my arms and thighs and my abs.... Some things I've found helpful are -not eating after 6 or 7 -as cliche as it sounds...drinking water really makes u feel better and canclear up your skin and all that. so whats your tips and secrets

i lost weight when i first came here during band camp cuz we worked out so much, like 5/6 pounds, but i'm gaining them back now. I'm now holding steady at 154. ain't tryna gain or lose hey the **** thang ain't funny i used to be bulimic

ive lost about 15 pounds since school started thanks to oversleeping and the hampton university cafe's ridiculous hours of operation.

I have lost 15 pds since Aug.13 thats when I came to Alabama A&M University. Only thing I do is walk every where I go. I stay on the 4th floor and I walk up snd down the steps instead of taking the elevator everyday. I walk to all my classes instead of riding the Bulldog Transit.For everyone that doesnt know about A&M, A&M is on hills, so when you go to class its like a journey. I hate them damn hills but I love them at the same time cause I have lost so much weight. 8) The cafe food is ok but I make sure that when I finish eating I walk around a lil bit.

This summer i gained like 20 pounds, which doesnt really make me mad cause i have been this size before, so my clothes fit almost the same.. but last year when i did work out i lost a rediculous amount of inches( i need to get back on my plan cuase winter is on my a$$ and i dont want to gain that winter weight) But what i did was Drank Hella water.. i woke up at bout 5:45 each day and went to the Cardio room and ran for an hour, went to breakfast, walked to classes, went back to the cardio room at about noon-2 depending on if i had classes and ran for another hour... went to lunch ate something light went to classes and around 6-8pm went back to the cardio room and ran for another hour

Oh yeah not to mention i did High Impact Aerobic Dance twice a week for an hour and ate small meals so my SPM(starvation protection mechanism) wouldnt kick in. I know it was a lot, but that was the only thing that worked for me... In about a month i ended up losing like 6 inches and 10 pounds, which still kept me in a size 10 jeans and at 165 pounds. If you eat when you feel hungry then you waited to late to eat. Cause if your SPM kicks in thats when your tummy feels like its cussing you out for running your body all day on no fuel, so eat something.. but its best to eat fruit and water to avoid that.
