A real bond is someone who will come and pick you up when you are down.... ...bleeding from 7 gunshot wounds clinging to life with multiple targets firing high-powered rifle rounds in your direction. Everthing else is just kinda...psuedo-bond.

no bonds that are even recognized as REAL or OFFICIAL so that means they are biting if I was phi beta i would think they were tryna take an aspect what i NATURALLY have deltas and omegas wannabe zetas and sigmas akas claiming alphas wannabe zetas it's so... bootleg it's so jealous zetas take a bow all the rest the orgs are tryna be like y'all but are falling extremely SHORT
I don't understand this. Are you just dealing with a multitude of Greeks that are dying to claim each other? Yeah, I show love to Alphas as my Phirst Pham, but first and foremost, I joined Alpha Kappa Alpha to be a lady of Alpha Kappa Alpha, not so that I could link myself to another organization. I don't think anyone's on this forum saying, "I joined Sigma Gamma Rho so that I can be linked in some way to the Kappas." It's just not that serious.

Now i was even going to respond to this fool. This is to all those that gave him a reply. You all shouldn't even entertain this joker's statements. his whole game plan is to talk out of the side of his neck and beat up his gum. first of all, the joke is not even Greek, just a "GID". Outside, lookin' in WONNA BE. sittinig there trying to have a debate about "bond" and dont even know the first meaning of the word. If that joker wants to debate on something, then he needs to be sure it is something that he is "APART" of, familiar with, or experienced. Talk about "BITING", why you (change) in a greek forum? sounds like you "wonna be". Hummmmm.....looks like you are "Biting" off of somebody who is already GREEK. Like i told you in the other forum, when I was pledging, you was in elementary school playing with ya "Tonka trucks". you need to find you a "GDI" forum to get into and stop tryin to fit in. OHHH, my bad....I forgot...You Ain't GREEK....

OoHDatDude wrote: A gift from a bruh to his soror It's a lot deeper than words on a piece of paper my friend Change. If that's what you need to appease your self-righteous view into greek life, paper burns but true love is forever. If that document that binds Sigma and Zeta together catches fire, are they no longer legit to you? Because the "official" document is no longer tangible. You have a friend right? You 2 would share a bond. That bond is near and dear to your heart and ya'll are tighter than brothers (or sisters), do you view that as a bond? Because what you're saying is in order for there to be a bond, there must be "official" documentation for that to be true. I just want you to understand the argument that you are making and how you seem to contradict yourself if you infact have a friend that you hold near and dear to your heart. We may not have it written on a piece of paper in the library of congress but our relationships are written all over the history of BGLOs as well as African American history as well. ROO-OOP to them DAMN DELTAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking good ladies. I love all of ya'll always and forever Enough SAID......Change PLease.....Get a Life...You failed to realized and Understand because you are UNeducated about it but instead you run your mouth........When it is time for you to join that Frat....they may declined you because of you being an AZZ! Think about it no one came to your DEFENSE!

The word "Greek" should be expelled from all Frats and Sororities. No one here is Greek, infact if anyone is close to it; it's me. I detest your clan using it's country's people names to dignify an affiliation. Or, and just to add more fuel to the fire...Erasmian translation (The letters and pronunciation you all use) did not orginate in Greece, nor is it very prevailent in Greece. Italy biches. I thought change would have said. why you all want to be greek you all want to be white like BUSH f**k white trash and bush stop being mental midgets
Here we go again. . .I explained in a previous thread why many of us are so named. As far as the Erasmian Pronunciation When the greeks dispersed to other areas after the invasion of the Turks, they introduced their culture to those areas. This continued for centuries and the result was a mix of Latin and Grecian tongues, which is referred to as Byzantine Greek. In the early renaissance period it was decided that western education be based on learning the grecian literary classics. Erasmus noticed the differences between the spelling of the words in the ancient texts and it's modern pronunciation. He began to champion returning the pronunciation of greek letters to its classical roots, which although slow to catch on, was eventually adopted by the top universities in England and then other parts of Europe. BUT, Erasmian Pronunciation is the ACADEMIC pronunciation of greek letters. Byzantine Greek (or Modern greek) is very much still being spoken in Greece today. Therefore, the same greek letters we use for our organizations make sense since they were founded on college campuses. Erasmus later in life denounced his own theory and rarely, if ever actually used it in his own scholarly writing.
