  • Designing and developing device drivers for I/O subsystems on modern SOCs
  • Designing and developing unit tests for at least the code you have written
  • Learning and understanding complex clock, power and reset trees of modern SOCs
  • Writing USB, PCIe and other device drivers
  • Mastering technical standards and specifications
  • Using JTAG, oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers for debug and validation
  • Read and understand electrical schematics and device datasheets

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Strong background in data structures and algorithms
  • Proficient in C/C software development
  • Experienced developing multithreaded software
  • Experienced developing low level device drivers
  • Strong background in computer architecture concepts such as memory hierarchy, SMP, DMA
  • MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred
