Graphics Engineer (Retro Studios)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
contributor that develops, writes and debugs code for video game software and
tools with a specific focus on engine programming for rendering and various
other systems as required.
Designs, develops, writes, tests, and
implements code and shaders in HLSL and GLSL
Writes clear, maintainable, portable
Writes documentation for other
Anticipates, identifies and articulates
problem areas and develops preventative solutions
Participates in providing feedback for
the work of other Engineers
Qualifications & Requirements
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience working on graphics and simulation systems for AAA video games required
5 years of experience preferred
Effective organization, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong understanding of 3D graphics techniques and algorithms and their applications in computer simulation and video game software; Background in object-oriented design and software engineering methodologies
Professional experience in programming C/C and C#
Background in object-oriented design and software engineering methodologies
Strong math and physics skills required
Must be proficient with HLSL/GLSL
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with rapidly changing requirement, with a focus on quality is a must
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required, or specific experience video game programming. Advanced degree preferred.
