Nintendo of America's Remanufacture and Refurbishment Department supports Nintendo’s reverse logistics program. We are a production-based Department focused on the efficient execution of operations utilizing well defined processes and procedures. We see continuous improvement as a way of life with the relentless pursuit of doing great things even better the next time. 


We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills and experience who can model the way, inspire the team and encourage from the heart. A strong background in production planning and inventory management techniques, with formal training such as the CPIM designation with APICS, is preferred.


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
  • Supervises assigned manufacturing operational staff in daily work assignments and area activities in support of NOA’s reverse logistics production operations
  • Supervises manufacturing recovery operations personnel providing support, direction and coaching to assigned staff in the areas of training, problem resolution, planning and work assignment delegation
  • Ensures assigned staff maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner
  • Resolves personnel issues (coaching, counseling, documentation, etc.)
  • Authors and publishes procedures and policies as required within the area of responsibility or as assigned
  • Forecasts and manages work volume, work schedules, and staffing levels to ensure business needs and goals are met
  • Identifies and develops process changes for increased efficiency and productivity
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations
  • Acts as liaison with other departments regarding business functions related to Technical Services
  • Oversees returned products flow with focus on accuracy, cost, quality, efficiency, safety, and process improvements
  • Prepares projected/actual cost, time and resource requirements for assigned areas
  • Analyzes costs and efficiencies
  • Troubleshoots and resolves corrective actions
  • Manages inventory accuracy

Qualifications & Requirements
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
  • Two years of
    experience in supervision of staff and experience in Business and production operations
  • Excellent
    organizational and decision making skills
  • Attention to detail
    and accuracy
  • Basic math skills and
    accurate counting skills
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Soldering and
    de-soldering skills may be helpful
  • Working knowledge of
    standard inventory procedures
  • Related NOA experience
    helpful
  • AA in Business
    Administration
  • Formal training in
    Lean Manufacturing, Inventory, and/or Quality Control practices preferred
  • CPIM certification
    preferred
  • First Aid and CPR
    certification required
