Job Summary

The Learning Technologies and Training Coordinator is responsible for leading the planning, coordinating, developing, delivering, and providing technical support for Disability Services Division (DSD) training activities. Under the direction of the Training, Technical Assistance, and Communications (TTC) Unit Supervisor, this position works collaboratively with other TTC team members and DSD business area staff in a lead role.

Job Responsibilities Include:

•Design and development of online training including instructional design, storyboarding, LMS integration, and accessibility testing.

•Multimedia design and development (audio, video, graphics/imagery, text/documents).

•Administration of Learning Management System (LMS).

•SharePoint site design, development, and technical support.

•Ensuring agency and division procedures, practices and standards related to web and learning environments, graphics and web accessibility are applied to all digital assets.

•Administration and maintenance of training systems/platforms, resources and environments.

•Develop and implement training plans using project management strategies that support the project from initiation to completion.

Qualifications





Minimum Qualifications:

•Three (3) years of professional experience designing and developing online learning environments.


Experience must demonstrate the following:

•Designing and developing accessible documents and publications using Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access);


•Administration of learning management systems (LMS)


•Multimedia design and development (audio, video, graphics);


•Adult education, instructional design and/or curriculum delivery; and


•Writing, editing and documentation of data and information sufficient to communicate ideas, represent information in narrative or non-narrative format.


A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, eLearning design and development, instructional design or related field may substitute for one (1) year of experience OR Master’s degree in Education, Training, eLearning design and development or related field may substitute for two (2) years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience using industry standard design and development software like Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Captivate, and/or Articulate Storyline.


•Designing, developing and publishing courses using eLearning scoring standards (SCORM and AICC).


•Multimedia production using digital cameras or other learning technologies hardware/software systems.
