**JOB TITLE:** Consultant, Advanced Analytics

**_What Advanced Analytics contributes to Cardinal Health_**

Advanced Analytics is responsible for applying quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions that solve complex business problems\.

+ Works with stakeholders to identify business opportunities, goals, or objectives
+ determines if objectives can be met using an analytical approach and develops hypothesis\.
+ Identifies key data requirements and acquires data
+ harmonizes, rescales, and cleans data for statistical techniques
+ applies data visualization techniques to evaluate data for model specification etc\.
+ Builds custom quantitative models by applying advanced statistical methods such as causal and predictive modeling, forecasting, data mining, simulation, and/or optimization\.
+ Demonstrates the ability to perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and determines need for reformulation\.
+ Interprets results of quantitative models, identifies trends and issues, and develops alternatives to support business objectives\.
+ Demonstrates ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex information to a variety of audiences and mediums\.
+ Partners with stakeholders and technologist to implement/automate/operationalize models into day\-to\-day business decision making\.

**_Accountabilities in this role_**

As the Advanced Analytics Senior Analyst you work closely with the Key Account Manager \(KAM\) for the largest client within the Sonexus portfolio of clients\. You will seek to understand the client’s key business imperatives and overall strategy and then develop advanced analytical models that provide actionable insights and business intelligence to inform the client’s business and marketing strategies\. You will work closely with the APS operational team, pharmacy, and other service line solutions that the client uses to gather data and develop analytical models that demonstrate both operational and marketing analytical insights that help the client increase the value proposition of their product\.

+ Defines and leads the advanced analytics strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy of the KAM and client
+ Responsible for tracking all operational, marketing, and disease state trend metrics related to the client’s product portfolio
+ Supports the KAM in preparing for daily, weekly, and monthly business reviews with the client
+ Understands the client’s product patient journey and competitive marketplace dynamics and applies that knowledge in analytical models
+ Applies advanced strategic thinking to develop analytical models that create forecasting and even predictive behaviors of the client’s patient demographics
+ Works with other analytical and IT experts across the business
+ Articulates advanced analytical business intelligence insights to client alongside the KAM as the KAM’s subject matter expert on analytics and insights
+ Responsible for maintaining spreadsheets, databases, and other models that are developed to run analytical outputs
+ Uses Excel and Tableau regularly for data visualization presentations for the client
+ Decisions have an extended impact on client relations and overall business strategy
+ Persuades others into agreement in sensitive situations while maintaining positive relationships


+ Bachelors Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
+ 4\+ years experience in related field preferred
+ Advanced Degree in related field preferred
+ Experience with Excel and Tableau preferred
+ Experience with data visualization preferred
+ Polished oral and written communication skills, with executive facing presentation experience and ability to alter communication for varying audiences
+ Consultative communication approach with the ability to design creative solutions while building strong relationships
+ Proven ability to learn an application of advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
+ Highly organized and ability to collaborate to leverage resources and capabilities across teams
